(TW: Blood, needles, stylized decapitation)
Just two companion pieces I did back in March. Packed full of symbolism that makes zero sense if you don't know the characters. Which very few people do. It's fiiiiiine!
It was actually really nice to do something with a little bit of a dark edge. I used to draw a lot of grim and violent stuff back in the day, but toned things down when I began working on AstralSounds, so that my work would be more friendly for slightly younger readers.
Working on these felt like a return to the sort of things I drew back in high school. Except I'm a way better artist now.
